Our conference rooms are named after all the places Upshot has lived in Chicago.

We’ve adopted a local bar everywhere we’ve lived, which is why our deep dive areas are named The Frog, Divots, Bacci and The Palm.

After the first Upshot office burned down in 1997, business was conducted from a local bar, The Blue Frog. Their menu still features a drink called “The Upshot.”

50% of Upshot employees are under 30.

The jovial face in the Pringles logo was designed to resemble an employee’s father.

Prior to working at Upshot our employees have been a…Clown, Door to Door Sales People (from frozen pizzas to encyclopedias), Child Model/Actress, Great America Airbrush Artist, Custom Harley Davidson Designer, Reptile Skeleton Cleaner, Tennis Instructor, Pickle Factory Quality Control, Julius Caesar Impersonator, Set Designer, Truck Driver, Bean Walker, Monkey Farmer

The Apparel Center (our home) was originally constructed without windows to keep the fabrics that were housed here from fading. We had the walls popped out and windows put in to enjoy the magnificent view.

Upshot has two unofficial mascots—Mandalay and Yo-Yo Boy. Both are equally creepy or funny depending on your taste.

The Gogo Inflight Internet Emoticon *-)- is possibly the first to ever be trademarked.

Upshotters have been to Disneyland or Walt Disney World over 275 times.

We created P&G’s first pop-up environment in North America.

We have at least a foursome of creatives who can golf and several account folks who can paint.
